Manager - Customer Engineering - Automation Testing (Selenium) /Solutions Engine

BrowserStack is a software testing platform that powers over two million tests every day. We are looking for a Customer Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team and partner with sales to deliver revenue growth.

Requirements

• 10-15 years of engineering experience in the B2B SaaS space
• Prior experience as an Automation Test Manager or Lead, particularly with hands-on expertise in Selenium
• Experience in Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, or Consulting roles with a technical background
• Client interaction experience
• Experience in people management, including hiring, mentoring, conducting performance reviews, setting goals, and driving team growth
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
• Familiarity with Agile software development and deployment methodologies, as well as the modern Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), associated toolsets, and best practices
• Hands-on knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Ruby, JavaScript)
• Proficiency with development tools and IDEs (Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, Visual Studio, Maven, Git)
• Experience building or maintaining automation frameworks (JUnit/NUnit, TestNG, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber, NightWatchJS, WebDriverIO)
• Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI) tools (Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Azure DevOps)
• Understanding of networking and security protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL, VPNs, IPsec, firewalls)
• Disciplined self-starter who does whatever it takes to succeed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
