The Virtual Nurse provides remote administrative support to healthcare professionals by managing electronic health records (EHR), preparing and closing patient charts, and assisting with real-time documentation during patient encounters. This non-clinical role is ideal for Registered Nurses with strong technical and communication skills who are eager to gain experience in virtual healthcare operations. The position offers the flexibility to work from home while contributing to the accuracy, efficiency, and overall quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, update, and manage electronic patient charts and medical records
  • Provide administrative support to nurse practitioners, physicians, clinics, or healthcare teams
  • Use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT) to assist in documentation and data handling
  • Update insurance forms by entering the correct ICD-11 codes for specified or identified diagnosis.
  • Real-Time Data Entry: Enter patient information into the EHR system in real-time, supporting healthcare providers during consultations.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff to ensure seamless patient care and accurate documentation, coordinate with internal teams for proper task and file handovers
  • Assist with Chart Reviews: Review and edit patient charts for completeness and accuracy, ensuring all documentation meets regulatory and compliance standards.
  • Uphold and maintain HIPAA rules and guidelines, thus maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all medical-related records
  • Coordinate with internal teams for proper task and file handovers
  • Ensure timely completion of all assigned virtual support tasks

Qualifications:

  • Must be a graduate of BS Nursing or BS Medicine in the Philippines;
  • Philippine Registered Nurse or NCLEX passer is an advantage;
  • Experience in clinical documentation or patient charting;
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills;
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable with digital tools, including AI platforms;
  • Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and EHR systems is a plus.
  • Excellent typing and transcription skills
  • Experience using productivity tools (Google Workspace, MS 365
  • Familiar in using Zoom
  • Strong analytical skills;
  • Have a sense of urgency;
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
  • Exposure to virtual/remote work environments
  • Open to fresh graduates or recent board passers

Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements:

  • Internet Connection
  • Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps.
  • Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps.
  • Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage.
  • Primary Device:
  • Desktop or laptop equipped with at least:
  • Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor.
  • A minimum of 8 GB RAM.
  • Backup Device:
  • Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor.
  • Must be functional during power interruptions.
  • Peripherals and Workspace:
  • A functioning webcam (provided by PBO Global)
  • A noise-canceling USB headset (provided by PBO Global)
  • A quiet, dedicated home office space.
  • A smartphone for communication and verification purposes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php35,000.00 per month
