Webflow Designer / Developer

Remote · USA Full-time New today

100% remote | Global team | ⏳ Full-time

Join NineTwoThree AI Studio, a remote-first product design, engineering, and marketing studio, founded in 2012 and based in Boston. We build AI-powered web and mobile apps for big brands and fast-moving startups.

You’ll work with really smart people - the kind of teammates who challenge you, push you forward, and make you better. We move fast and focus on getting things done.

We've been growing 20% every year for the last 5 years, which means there’s plenty of room for career growth and promotions. Our work speaks for itself - some of our customers found us through five layers of referrals. That’s how much people appreciate what we do.

We run on clear processes and strong leadership, so while we move quickly, we don’t do chaos. We do high-quality work, and we do it right.

We focus on products with a positive impact in various domains from sports and health, to logistics and nuclear. But if you're into gambling, adult entertainment, or crypto, we’re not your place.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain our website, landing pages, and other digital assets in Webflow.
  • Implement clean, responsive designs with smooth, user-friendly animations.
  • Ensure high performance, accessibility, and adherence to web standards.
  • Optimize site speed and technical SEO, including metadata and semantic structure.
  • Collaborate with designers and marketers to bring concepts to life.
  • Proactively suggest and implement improvements to UX, performance, and SEO.
  • Use custom code (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery) when needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to planning and reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues efficiently.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in creating beautiful, high-performing websites.
  • Strong foundation in design fundamentals, including a deep understanding of typography, layout, and color, with the ability to consistently apply these principles across our digital presence.
  • Deep hands-on experience building pages in Webflow, including use of Webflow CMS, and the ability to extend functionality using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Proven expertise in web animation, with the ability to craft subtle, smooth transitions and interactions that elevate user experience without overwhelming the design.
  • A proactive approach to development — someone who not only completes tasks, but actively suggests and implements technical improvements to enhance website speed, performance, SEO, and user experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with SEO and speed optimization, including the ability to analyze the website, identify areas for improvement, and optimize code and structure to positively impact Google rankings and load times.
  • Solid understanding of technical SEO best practices (semantic HTML, metadata, accessibility, indexing, site performance, etc.) and how they apply within Webflow.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to independently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, with an Upper-Intermediate level of English or higher, to effectively collaborate with designers, marketers, and stakeholders.

Would be a plus

  • Experience with Lottie Animation.
