Job Summary

The Python Developer will design, develop, and maintain custom software solutions to support Client's mission-critical programs.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and maintainable web, data, and automation tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Python-based applications for Client, including web services, RESTful APIs, and automation scripts.

Good at building Data Pipelines

Sound Knowledge in Snowflake

Good at OLAP and generating Business Intelligence reports using REDSHIFT 

Migrate legacy applications to Python, analyze existing code, and ensure smooth transitions.

Integrate Python solutions with content management systems and other government platforms as needed.

Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, document system specifications, and deliver project objectives.

Maintain documentation, provide production support, and resolve issues in a timely fashion.

Support application testing and quality assurance using automated frameworks.

Optimize code performance and security for federal data-handling standards.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Min 5+ years of professional Python development experience, including work on web applications or content management projects.

Experience with major Python frameworks (Django, Flask, FastAPI).

Strong ability to analyze, migrate, and maintain legacy applications.

Proficiency with SQL and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated testing frameworks.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently and in teams.

Preferred Skills

Experience working in healthcare, government, or large regulatory environments.

Previous exposure to any federal agency projects.

Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Redshift and cloud environments.

Experience integrating Python with content management systems or enterprise portals.
