Key Responsibilities

• Analyze complex business problems and issues using internal and external data sources to provide actionable insights to decision-makers.
• Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences and inform strategic planning.
• Develop forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and market knowledge.
• Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and available data elements.
• Collaborate with clients to modify or tailor existing analysis or reports to meet their specific needs.
• Participate in management reviews, presenting and interpreting analysis results, summarizing conclusions, and recommending a course of action.
• Recognize, identify, and document changes to existing business processes and identify new opportunities for process developments and improvements.
• Review, research, analyze, and evaluate data relating to specific areas of expertise, becoming a subject matter expert.
• Conduct analysis and use analytical skills to identify root causes and assist with problem management.
• Analyze business workflow and system needs for conversions and migrations to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Prepare high-level user documentation and training materials as needed.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of business analysis experience.
• 4+ years of managed care experience.
• Demonstrated familiarity with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures applicable to job-related subject areas.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1-3 years of formal training in Business Analysis and/or Systems Analysis.
