We are seeking an Azure Solution Architect to join our dynamic team! This position contributes to the assessment, design, build, and deployment of SaaS solutions utilizing industry best practices within a private Microsoft Azure environment. You will be part of a highly innovative fast-paced team, incorporating and inventing emerging software technologies to deliver best practice SaaS and PaaS solutions in the Microsoft environment.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a solution architect in the project team and provide agile software delivery, best-practice expertise to deliver results for an organization.
• Lead the strategic planning and technology roadmaps for a major federal agency.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and robust Azure cloud solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions that align with our strategic goals.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and performance of Azure-based systems.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay abreast of the latest Azure features and best practices in cloud architecture.
• Ability to perform market research and make specific recommendations including a SWOT Analysis (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat)
• Provide deployment information technology planning and implementation support.
• Assist in developing project roadmaps for iterative implementations and functional expansion in phases leveraging agile/lean methodologies.
• Ensure successful analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing, and implementation of agile software development solutions across the enterprise.
