Lunch Teacher and Substitute Teacher (French speaking preferred)

Teddy Bear Club is seeking a teacher to help oversee children at lunch and during an activity period after lunch at its Newton, MA campus. This is a part-time position, weekdays from 11:15am - 1:15pm on school days. A candidate for our lunch role will also have occasional opportunities to work as substitute teacher in our morning and/or afternoon program, if desired.

TBC is a bilingual French/English preschool program and, thus, we would prefer (but do NOT require) that our lunch teacher be able to speak some basic French. Having an EEC teacher certification is also preferred.

In this position, you will be responsible for working with students, preparing classroom areas, coordinating activities with classroom teachers and cleaning up as needed.

Candidates for this position:

- Must love working with preschoolers and be highly enthusiastic - Must be extremely organized and detail oriented - Must enjoy working in a very team-oriented environment - Ideally speak at least some basic French - Ideally are an EEC certified preschool teacher

The salary for this part-time teaching role is $25/hour. There is potential for future growth within the school.
