backend Engineer - Spear Staffing
Role: Back End Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: PART TIME-10 hours a week.

Responsibilities:
- Write clean and maintainable code in a fast-paced environment
- Working on Azure Functions written in NodeJS using CosmosDB
- Provide estimates for the work that you will be doing then meet those estimates
- Participate in all required agile ceremonies
- Quickly identify and track down bugs and implement the most effective solution
- Provide input as required to the planning, requirements definition, and design process for new features
- Provide consistent communication regarding status to both the Engineering and Business teams
Skills and Competencies/Education:
- Expertise with NodeJS, Cosmos DB
- Experience with Azure Function Apps, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Application Insights, Azure DevOps
- Experience with 3rd Party API Integration and PowerBI Reporting
- Experience with other Azure Services such as: Key Vault, Networking, Front Door and WAF, API Management Service is a big plus
- Bachelor s degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines are essential to success
- Ability to pick up new responsibilities quickly
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Experience with the Agile methodology
- Self-starter who can work independently as well as in team environment
