About the Opportunity

NexRep is connecting talented individuals with a unique chance to work as independent contractors, providing critical customer support services to Automated Health Systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Answering inbound calls with professionalism and empathy, ensuring callers receive the assistance they need.
  • Providing accurate information in accordance with established policies, procedures, and privacy laws.
  • Assisting customers with program enrollment and routing them to appropriate contacts via three-way calls.
  • Facilitating communication needs, including relay services for callers with speech or hearing impairments and translation services for non-English speakers.
  • Placing outbound calls as necessary to share time-sensitive information with customers.
  • Utilizing multiple computer systems to access data and document information efficiently.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you'll need:

  • At least one year of customer service experience, with knowledge of public benefit programs and experience in health or human services being a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with great active listening skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, with the ability to quickly learn new computer applications.
  • A positive attitude, empathy, patience, and professionalism.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and stay updated on applicable programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Good problem-solving and de-escalation skills to handle challenging situations effectively.

Your Home Office Setup

To work effectively as a Remote Customer Support Representative, you'll need:

  • A computer with Windows 10 or 11, 8GB of RAM, and at least 500MB of free hard drive space.
  • Up-to-date antivirus software and access to high-speed, hardwired internet.
  • Dual monitors, a USB noise-cancelling headset, and a webcam for certification purposes.

Flexible Scheduling and Operational Hours

This role offers the flexibility to choose your work hours within the client's operational schedule:

  • Monday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM ET
  • Tuesday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM ET
  • Wednesday: 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM ET
  • Thursday and Friday: 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM ET

While you're encouraged to work around your other commitments, there is a requirement to service at least 5 hours on Mondays and 4 hours on Tuesdays due to the higher volume of calls on these days.
