Position Summary
We are seeking an exceptional Advanced Math Tutor to join our team in Creve Coeur, MO. As an Advanced Math Instructor and Tutor, you will create an engaging and productive learning experience for students. You will work with students of varying skill levels, providing individualized instruction in a group setting, and help them develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students, tailoring your approach to meet the needs of each individual learner.
- Participate in positive interactions with parents, establishing a high level of confidence and program value.
- Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes, using technology to enhance the learning experience.
- Teach in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices.
- Assess students' progress throughout instructional sessions, working collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students.
- Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework, providing constructive feedback to support student growth.
- Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment, ensuring that our center is a welcoming and inspiring space for students.
- Assist with non-teaching and instructional tasks as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of our center.
Essential Qualifications
- A passion for math and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and team members.
- Exceptional math competency through Calculus 2 and Statistics.
- Ability to balance various ongoing tasks, prioritizing responsibilities and managing your time effectively.
- Willingness to learn and be trained in the Mathnasium Method.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in education or tutoring.
- Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
