Key Responsibilities

As a Remote Program Associate, you will play a critical role in driving our educational initiatives forward. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and facilitating engaging professional learning workshops and seminars for educators and school leaders, both in-person and online, to promote our innovative pedagogical approaches.
  • Recruiting and establishing partnerships with schools and districts to implement our impactful programs, conducting introductory sessions that pave the way for curriculum integration.
  • Maintaining effective communication and documentation with educators and educational leaders to cultivate enduring relationships and ensure successful program implementation.
  • Designing and delivering technology-enabled professional learning experiences using platforms such as Zoom and Google tools.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and refine program materials, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and objectives.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years of secondary classroom teaching experience (grades 7-12), with a proven track record of success in promoting student learning and achievement.
  • At least 3 years of experience in leading professional development and/or coaching in educational settings, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities, with the capacity to engage diverse audiences and promote collaborative learning environments.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in designing technology-enabled professional learning experiences, using platforms such as Zoom and Google tools.
  • Familiarity with social-emotional learning, equity initiatives, and culturally responsive teaching practices, with a commitment to promoting these values in your work.

Preferred Qualifications: Cultural competence and lived experiences within marginalized communities are highly valued, as are experience working with diverse student populations and a strong understanding of the complexities of educational equity.
