Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Data Engineer to join our team. As a Full Stack Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our data infrastructure, and will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and security of our data. You will work closely with our data science team to develop and implement data pipelines, and will be responsible for ensuring that our data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
- Develop and implement data models to support data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives
- Work closely with data science team to develop and implement data pipelines and data models
- Ensure that data is accurate, complete, and up-to-date
- Develop and implement data quality and data governance initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data-related projects and initiatives
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards for data engineering practices
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and developing scalable and efficient data pipelines
- Strong experience with SQL, Python, and Cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and business intelligence
- Strong communication, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
- Experience with agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g. Git)
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Google Cloud Dataflow, AWS Glue)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
