Role Description
This role involves contributing to a high-impact collaboration with a leading AI company by generating expert-level, reasoning-based data analysis samples.
- Analyze large structured datasets provided by partner organizations.
- Design reasoning-based analytics questions that require multi-step problem-solving and data interpretation.
- Write and validate SQL queries (using DuckDB, pandas, or Python notebooks) to answer those questions.
- Produce clear, human-readable explanations that articulate analytical reasoning and insights.
- Format deliverables into structured JSON outputs (question, query, answer).
- Ensure consistency and quality through peer collaboration and reviewer feedback.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in data analytics, data science, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python (experience with DuckDB or pandas preferred).
- Strong background in data exploration, statistical reasoning, and business intelligence.
- Experience working with tools like iPython, Jupyter Notebooks, or GitHub.
- Excellent written communication skills — ability to explain complex reasoning clearly.
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related discipline (Bachelor’s minimum; advanced degree preferred).

- Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous
Compensation & Contract
- Competitive hourly rate $100 USD/hour
- Independent contractor position.
