Key Responsibilities:

As a Customs Trade Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Processing and verifying customs clearance documentation, including import and export records, certificates of origin, and commercial invoices
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of shipments, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and any issues or discrepancies
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including sales, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless communication and coordination
  • Processing organization financier shipments and handling distant filings as required
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including those related to customs clearance, trade compliance, and data security
  • Performing other duties as assigned, including special projects and tasks related to customs clearance and trade compliance

Essential Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as international trade, logistics, or business administration

  • At least 6 months of experience in a data entry or administrative role, preferably in a logistics or transportation company
  • Strong knowledge of customs clearance procedures, including import and export regulations, tariffs, and documentation requirements
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to handle high volumes of work and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions

Preferred Qualifications:

* HS Certificate or GED

  • Industry experience in logistics, transportation, or international trade
  • Familiarity with trade compliance software and systems, including customs clearance platforms and trade management systems
  • Experience working with government agencies, including customs and border protection
  • Strong knowledge of international trade laws and regulations, including those related to customs clearance, tariffs, and trade compliance
