Digital Marketing Intern - Customer Relationship Management: Join Disney's Innovative Team in California

About the Opportunity The Walt Disney Organization is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Digital Marketing Intern to join their Customer Relationship Management (CRM) team in Burbank, California. As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, develop your skills, and contribute to the success of Disney's marketing campaigns. Program Overview The CRM group at Disney is responsible for leveraging data to inform marketing strategies and drive customer engagement. As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will be an integral part of this team, working closely with Mission Managers to develop and execute email marketing creatives, audience segmentation, campaign coordination, and campaign performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with various Disney Specialty Units to gather and prepare/exchange resources for campaign execution
  • Create campaign reports and analyze campaign performance data to inform future marketing strategies
  • Utilize Adobe Dreamweaver and Photoshop to develop email marketing creatives and exchange resource expectations
  • Assist with monitoring CRM testing, campaign QA, and providing insights into campaigns from execution data
  • Develop a deep understanding of Disney's customers and contribute to the development of marketing strategies that drive customer engagement

Required Capabilities and Abilities To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualities:

  • A strong passion for digital marketing and a willingness to learn and grow in the industry
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of HTML and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
  • A solid understanding of digital marketing platforms, including social media, email, and paid search, as well as data analysis
  • The ability to be flexible, clever, and thrive in a fast-paced, changing, and growing environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to work independently and be a self-starter with flexibility and adaptability
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Preferred Capabilities While not required, the following skills and experiences are highly preferred:

  • A background in Digital Marketing with experience in project management
  • Experience with reporting tools, such as Advanced Excel and Tableau
  • Experience with email marketing tools, such as Mailchimp and Constant Contact
  • Knowledge of databases, such as SQL/Oracle
  • Experience with other Adobe Creative Suite Projects, such as Adobe XD and Adobe Illustrator

Education and Eligibility To be eligible for this opportunity, you must:

  • Be currently enrolled or graduated within the past six months studying Marketing, Digital Marketing, or a closely related program
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have unlimited work authorization
  • Not have completed one year of continuous work on a Disney internship or Disney School Program
