Responsibilities

As a Phone & Chat Specialist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing large volumes of inbound and outbound calls in a timely and efficient manner
  • Handling multiple chat channels simultaneously, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to customer inquiries
  • Following established communication scripts to address various topics and provide solutions to customers' needs
  • Identifying customers' requirements, clarifying information, researching, and providing alternatives to meet their needs
  • Accessing company and client resources to accurately handle calls and provide exceptional customer service
  • Performing data entry and customer service skills with precision and attention to detail
  • Navigating online platforms efficiently to access information and complete tasks
  • Working with requests and records received from nurses seeking to sign up for shifts
  • Verifying nurses' credentials and communicating with them via written messages to confirm their eligibility for specific facilities
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment, seamlessly transitioning between tasks and maintaining composure under pressure
  • Maintaining punctuality and attendance at all scheduled times, ensuring a positive and professional presence in all customer interactions
  • Cross-training as requested to expand your skill set and contribute to the team's success

Qualifications

To succeed as a Phone & Chat Specialist at blithequark, you'll need:

  • At least 1 year of customer service or customer support experience
  • 1 year of previous call center or office background experience required
  • Technical savvy and proficiency in navigating online platforms
  • Previous remote work from home experience a plus
  • Quick learning abilities and the capacity to work independently
  • Accurate typing skills, with a minimum of 35 words per minute
  • Strong phone and verbal communication skills, along with active listening and problem-solving abilities
  • A background check compliant with state and federal laws

  • A secure, reliable, and dedicated high-speed internet connection
  • Up-to-date antivirus software and a recent scan completed
  • A firewall enabled
  • A dedicated work area with a desk, chair, electrical outlet, and direct LAN connection
