About the Role

As a Customer Care Professional on our Virtual Customer Support Team, you'll play a critical role in providing top-notch support to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
  • Providing exceptional customer service through inbound calls, emails, and chats, while building strong relationships with our clients and understanding their needs
  • Conveying in-depth product and service knowledge to clients, highlighting the benefits and features of our American Express Private Business Services (SBS) offerings
  • Enhancing key selling skills, including building rapport, understanding client needs, resolving complaints, and closing sales
  • Providing timely and accurate responses to client inquiries, while maintaining a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced, organized customer support environment
  • Accurately documenting client interactions and account information, in accordance with established procedures and protocols
  • Ensuring compliance with all administrative and regulatory rules related to sales and customer service practices

What We're Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  • At least two years of experience in customer support, with a proven track record of building client loyalty through exceptional listening, consultative relationship-building, creativity, and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated success in a customer care and sales environment, with a strong understanding of sales principles and practices
  • The ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and tasks, while maintaining a high level of productivity and accuracy
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, with opportunities for further education and training
