What You'll Do

As an Experienced Customer Care Representative, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service to all external and internal customers. You'll be the face of blithequark, ensuring that every interaction is a positive and memorable experience. Your duties will include:

  • Pleasantly answering multi-line phone calls and referring them to the appropriate team member
  • Logging, processing, and dispatching sales and service calls
  • Courteously greeting customers and visitors, determining their needs, and directing them to the right person or resource
  • Processing and scanning daily checks, equipment service tickets, and walk-in sales
  • Preparing outgoing mail, balancing the cash box, and performing administrative tasks for other departments
  • Communicating with coworkers, management, and other stakeholders in a courteous and professional manner
  • Conforming to all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions
  • Working with all levels of company employees as a team to achieve common goals

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • At least one year of experience in a customer service position or a combination of education and experience providing the required skills and knowledge for successful performance
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask, adapt to change, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Honesty, integrity, trust, and respect for all customers, colleagues, and stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications will make you an even stronger candidate:

  • Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment
  • Familiarity with computer systems, software, and technology
  • Experience working in a team environment, with a focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction
  • Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM)
