Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming calls from customers and providing exceptional support via telephone
  • Reviewing customer history as necessary to ensure accurate and personalized service
  • Following policy and procedure guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
  • Helping customers change travel plans, confirm or obtain their itinerary, request refunds, or report travel issues
  • Processing refunds and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Placing outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve customer issues
  • Documenting information and outcomes as necessary to maintain accurate records

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Prior customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry or a related field
  • Strong geographical knowledge and the ability to navigate complex travel-related queries
  • Excellent customer service skills, including strong attention to detail, effective communication, and empathy
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency in using the internet and navigating multiple applications
  • Self-directed and able to organize, prioritize, anticipate situations, act, and see issues through to completion

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, experience working in the travel industry or personal experience using travel products is highly desirable. Additionally, successful Customer Service Representatives possess:

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency in using the internet and navigating multiple applications

Technical Requirements

To ensure seamless communication and efficient service delivery, you'll need:

  • A computer and equipment meeting the following specifications:
