Role and Responsibilities: As a Postal Associate, you will support daily operations by ensuring accurate mail handling, providing frontline customer service, and maintaining USPS standards of reliability and efficiency. Your attention to detail and commitment to service will help maintain the trust of millions of customers nationwide.

  • Sort, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and packages
  • Operate mail-processing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Assist customers with mail services, postage purchases, and tracking inquiries
  • Verify addresses and ensure proper postage has been applied
  • Maintain records and documentation related to mail transactions
  • Support retail operations at USPS branches, including cashier and counter duties
  • Ensure compliance with USPS policies, safety regulations, and procedures Required Skills and Experience:
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs regularly and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Basic proficiency in using handheld scanners and computer systems
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in mail handling, logistics, or customer service
  • Familiarity with USPS procedures and equipment
