Job Overview

The Customer Success Manager position is a critical role at blithequark, responsible for ensuring our customers achieve their goals and objectives through the effective use of our Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) solutions. As a trusted advisor, you will work closely with our customers to understand their needs, provide guidance and support, and identify opportunities for growth and expansion. Your expertise in GIS, Cityworks, and customer/account management will be essential in driving value and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute customer success plans to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including local and county government agencies, municipal and utility districts, and other stakeholders
  • Provide training, support, and guidance to customers on the use of our EAM solutions, including GIS-centric technologies
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, driving revenue growth and expansion
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and effective communication
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement

Requirements

  • BS/BA in business management, GIS, geography, or a related field
  • Solid knowledge of local or county government, including Community Development, Public Works, and Utilities
  • Experience working with municipal and/or utility districts, with a deep understanding of their needs and challenges
  • Prior experience in customer/account management, with a proven track record of driving customer retention and expansion
  • Strong knowledge of GIS and Cityworks, with the ability to apply this expertise to drive customer success

  • Advanced degree in business management, GIS, or a related field
  • Certifications or training in customer success management, account management, or a related field
  • Experience working with blithequark solutions, including EAM and GIS-centric technologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
