Job Summary

As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Prior Authorization Operations, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data from scanned and/or processed images into our data capture system. You will work closely with our production team to meet expected hourly production volume goals, maintain quality levels above minimums set by management, and increase speed and difficulty of tasks as expected with training and practice.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Enter data from scanned and/or processed images into the data capture system with high accuracy and efficiency.

  • Meet expected hourly production volume goals, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Maintain quality levels above minimums set by management, adhering to established standards and guidelines.
  • Increase speed and difficulty of tasks as expected with training and practice, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Participate in the Corporate Compliance Program, maintaining awareness of and adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly workstation, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Assist with other projects as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality, being reliable and dependable in your work commitments.
  • Work comfortably in a production environment, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Possess proficient typing skills, meeting minimum requirements of 35wpm and 98% accuracy (test required).
  • Exhibit excellent organization skills, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.

Qualifications – External

* Education/Prior Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required.

  • Data Entry Skills: Excellent data entry skills, with experience in a production-oriented environment.
  • Computer Knowledge: Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Math Skills: Basic math skills, including the ability to perform calculations and data analysis.
  • Typing Skills: Proficient typing skills, meeting minimum requirements of 35wpm and 98% accuracy (test required).
