Responsibilities

As a Part-time Chat Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service via online chat, ensuring that our dealer clients' online presence is represented favorably and that customer interactions are turned into leads. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling a wide variety of customer inquiries via online chat, providing accurate and timely responses to customer questions and concerns
  • Providing detailed information about products and services, including features, benefits, and pricing
  • Narrowing down on appointment information to schedule appointments and ensure seamless communication between customers and dealerships
  • Developing and maintaining a knowledge base of the ever-evolving products and services, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments
  • Capturing customer contact information for lead generation and client review, ensuring that all interactions are documented and tracked
  • Summarizing interactions based on customer needs for client review, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborating with internal teams to resolve customer issues and provide exceptional support

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in retail customer service or the automotive industry (although not necessary, it is preferred)
  • The ability to type at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
  • Basic internet and window-based computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Strong ability to multitask, with gaming experience a plus
  • Positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on customer satisfaction and resolution

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Be able to attend 4 weeks of training, Tuesday - Saturday between the hours of 10:00am-6:30pm CST
  • Be able to work 5-hour time blocks daily after completing training
  • Meet the typing speed requirement of at least 35 WPM, with 40 and above preferred
  • Possess a positive and professional demeanor, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Be able to adapt to change and enjoy a quick-paced work environment
  • Have gaming experience (although not required, it is preferred)
