Experienced Freight Processor – Data Entry Specialist at blithequark

We're seeking two highly skilled and detail-oriented Freight Processors to join our team. As a remote position, you'll have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, with occasional in-office training sessions at our Conklin, New York office. About the Role

As a Freight Processor at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in processing accounts, determining proper charges, and accurately entering information into our systems. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently will be essential in ensuring the success of our clients. You'll have the opportunity to work with a variety of accounts, calculate rates, mileage, and overflow charges, and utilize our client systems to provide exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

* Process accounts and determine proper charges

  • Accurately enter information into our systems
  • Calculate rates, mileage, and overflow charges using a computer calculator and our client systems
  • Review accounts and determine their appropriate classification
  • Use internet search engines (e.g., Google) to determine account connections and combine multiple accounts into one for our clients' customers
  • Maintain a high level of quality and attention to detail
  • Manage your time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Achieve and maintain acceptable rate and quality to meet or exceed customer requirements
  • Participate in the training of employees to perform job tasks
  • Receive constructive feedback with an objective open mind
  • Willingly participate in cross-training in other departments to meet company daily production commitments
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Complete all required Compliance Training within the scheduled time
  • Actively participate in overtime requirements within the scope of company policies and procedures

Essential Qualifications

* Previous data entry experience is a plus, but not required

  • Microsoft Office experience preferred
  • File sharing experience preferred
  • High-speed internet required
  • All equipment provided, including PC, monitors, keyboard, and mouse
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

* Previous experience in a similar role or industry

  • Familiarity with our client systems and software
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Pay Range
