Responsibilities
- Verify benefits for physical therapy via online portal and phone calls
- Submit and track authorizations
- document in electronic medical record Skills & Qualifications
- H.S. graduate or GED certificate
- Able to successfully maneuver online insurance sites
- Great communicator; friendly personality
- Explanation of Benefits experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of insurance verification experience in a healthcare setting
- Experience utilizing EMR systems, including electronic filing, denials, aging of accounts
- Ability to navigate insurance websites
