Key Responsibilities:

As a Customer Care Support Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service support through inbound telephonic phone calls, ensuring that members receive rapid and accurate assistance with their inquiries
  • Specializing in first call resolution performance, working diligently to resolve issues on the first call and minimize the need for follow-up interactions
  • Effectively managing and responding to inquiries from members, submitting requests to the proper departments to prevent recurring issues and ensure timely resolution
  • Maintaining and continuing to develop knowledge of the Vitality program, identifying areas for improvement to enhance the member experience
  • Identifying problems or gaps within current processes and collaborating with the team to devise creative solutions
  • Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on improvements to current processes, providing valuable insights to inform future enhancements
  • Communicating verbally and/or in writing to both internal and external audiences, ensuring that information is shared effectively and with a clear understanding of the audience's needs
  • Educating customers on the program and navigation of the website, providing personalized support to ensure a seamless experience
  • Capturing submitted events and other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to understand and respond to the needs of diverse audiences
  • Strong organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • A customer-focused and responsive approach, with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • A high school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

While not required, we encourage applicants with:

  • A bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., communications, business, or health sciences)
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a health or wellness setting
  • A health or wellness background, with a deep understanding of the industry and its challenges
