Entry Level Process Engineer - Cary, NC (LS)

They are seeking an Entry Level Process Engineer to support the Advanced Facilities - Life Sciences team in developing life-changing process solutions and assisting with project coordination and design specifications.
Responsibilities
- Support our teams on critical projects

- Work alongside professional engineers and designers
- Gaining exposure to project coordination
- Relevant computer-assisted engineering software
- Data collection
- Implementing, modifying, and maintaining process designs
- Assisting the development of Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)
- Model complex processes
- Develop process specifications
- Ensure that design conforms to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements
Skills
- BS Degree in Chemical Engineering from an accredited university
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Previous relevant design internship experience
- Experience with SmartPlant P&IDs
- Extracurricular involvement in professional organizations (i.e. SWE, NSBE, SHPE, AIChE, etc.)
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
