Analyst - Diligence (Hybrid)
Hilco Global is a diversified financial services company that provides integrated professional services and capital solutions. The Analyst in the Diligence Services group will perform due diligence procedures to assist lenders in evaluating the operational effectiveness and collateral performance of borrowers, primarily focusing on consumer and commercial financing operations.
Responsibilities
- Conducting management interview and inquiry to identify risk management issues and evaluate operational effectiveness of the company
- Testing compliance with lender reporting
- Performing sample-based testing, verification and other documentation-based analysis
- Preparing reporting which highlights key findings
- Participating in meetings with potential / existing lenders and delivering findings in a concise but effective manner
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; Accounting Degree or CPA a plus
- 1-3 years financial analysis experience or accounting-related field (actual level will be commensurate with candidate's experience)
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Advanced Excel spreadsheet skills, strong working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint)
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills and excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work under time constraints and meet aggressive deadlines
- Collaborate effectively with others
- Desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Consumer lending or accounting experience a plus
