ASIC Engineer, Leo Manufacturing
Amazon is a leading technology company focused on innovation and customer satisfaction. The ASIC Engineer will work alongside a team to design, debug, validate, and optimize products throughout the design lifecycle, engaging in logic design and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Participate in logic design, verification and post-silicon validation as part of Amazon custom silicon solutions
- Work with physical design teams to achieve performance and area requirements
- Develop a deep understanding of the end customer requirements, including software applications, use models, system architecture and the SoC architecture/micro-architecture of our solutions
- Develop and execute design automation mechanisms and flows
Skills
- Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields
- Experience in RTL coding and debug, as well as performance, power, area analysis and trade-offs
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language, or experience in embedded development in C/C++
- Experience with modern ASIC/FPGA design and verification tools
- Knowledge of analog and digital skills
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
