Job Summary

We're seeking experienced Customer Care Voice Associates to join our team in Providence, RI. As a Customer Care Voice Associate, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience for our customers. This is a remote opportunity, and you'll be working from the comfort of your own home, with the flexibility to commute to our office in Providence, RI when required.

Responsibilities

As a Customer Care Voice Associate, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering inbound calls regarding verification of health insurance benefits, eligibility, and claim status
  • Supporting less experienced team members and handling escalated issues
  • Interacting with clients and internal departments to solve issues
  • Organizing and completing tasks according to assigned priorities
  • Maintaining a strong focus on quality, including attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability
  • Developing and maintaining a solid working knowledge of the healthcare insurance industry and of all products, services, and processes performed by the team

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in customer service
  • 3+ years of experience that required a knowledge of healthcare insurance policy concepts
  • 3+ years of experience using a computer with Windows PC applications
  • Minimum internet speed of 20 upload/20 download
  • Reliable transportation and availability to commute to our office in Providence, RI when required
  • Required schedule availability for this position is Monday-Friday (08:00am to 08:00pm EST) and Saturday or Sunday (08:00am to 12:00pm EST)

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we're looking for candidates with:

  • Experience working in a call center or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance industry trends and regulations
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $20.00 for this remote role. This rate reflects the target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.
