Heffernan Network Insurance Brokers is seeking a Personal Lines Service Assistant to support Account Managers and Producers with clerical tasks related to account servicing. The role involves processing insurance documents, handling client correspondence, and completing special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities

  • Processing Evidences & Certificates of Insurance
  • Claim Reporting and/or Follow-up
  • NOC Processing - Non-Renewals/Non-Pay
  • Endorsement Processing
  • Invoicing - as assigned
  • Billing Questions
  • Obtain MVR/CLUE Reports
  • Attaching Correspondence in Agency Management System
  • Manual Renewal Processing
  • LPR Processing
  • Pulling Policies & Auto ID Cards
  • Email/Phone Correspondence with Clients - as directed
  • Un-routed Attachments
  • Prepare Spreadsheets, letters, and mailings as directed
  • Scanning Duties - including photocopying and faxing as directed
  • Input New Prospects/Clients Information - as directed
  • Processing PL Carrier docs - as applicable
  • Special Projects and other duties - as assigned

Skills

  • Education - High School graduate/GED required
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office - particularly Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Must be organized and capable of managing time effectively to meet deadlines
  • Must communicate effectively, both in spoken and written forms
  • Maintain effective communication in all forms, including email
  • Must work well in a team-based environment - collaborate with peers and be able to take direction from supervisors
  • Other key competencies include flexibility, adaptability, attention to detail, and being a self-starter
  • Experience working in an office & team environment is preferred
  • Industry experience is preferred but not required
