About the Role

As our first dedicated Customer Support Representative, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our customer support function. You will be responsible for delivering top-notch service to our customers, resolving their queries and issues, and providing feedback to our development team to help us improve our products. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing company and make a real impact on our customers' experience. You will be an integral part of our team, and your contributions will help us take our customer support to the next level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers via live chat, email, or other channels to resolve their issues and provide timely support
  • Continuously learn about our app's features, the Shopify ecosystem, and industry trends to provide expert guidance and support to our customers
  • Summarize product feedback from merchants and suggest new ways to improve our products and services
  • Collaborate with our development team to identify and prioritize areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the customer experience
  • Perform non-CS related tasks, such as researching tools, writing blog posts, creating mockups, or assisting with marketing initiatives, based on your natural abilities and interests

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess superb written and verbal communication skills, a passion for helping others, and the ability to handle challenging customer situations. You should be comfortable discussing technical concepts at a high level, proficient in basic CSS and JS, and willing to learn more if needed. Additionally, you should be able to write technical documentation and articles, and be willing to perform non-CS related tasks as required.

Essential Qualifications

  • Superb written and verbal communication skills
  • Enjoy talking to people and solving their problems
  • Able to handle "hard" customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Proficient in discussing technical concepts at a high level
  • Comfortable working with basic CSS and JS and willing to learn more if needed
  • Ability and willingness to write technical documentation and articles
  • Willingness to perform non-CS related tasks and adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to have at least a 4-hour overlap with our team's working hours (GMT+7 9am-6pm)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Shopify, especially in theme development or customization
  • Experience working with B2B SaaS companies
  • Additional languages, such as French, Spanish, or Italian
  • Any other skills that can be beneficial to a startup, such as marketing, SEO, video editing, or design
