Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Oriskany, NY. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional service to customers who possess a policy through arenaflex, responding to requests via telephone regarding insurance and other financial service products and benefit plans. You'll also research and respond to requests, discuss options, and provide policy-specific information to customers.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide service to customers who possess a policy through arenaflex by responding to requests via telephone regarding insurance and other financial service products and benefit plans

  • Research and respond to requests, discuss options, and provide policy-specific information to customers
  • Explain policy features and benefits, provide policy-specific information, and respond to requests regarding claims and processing transactions
  • Support campaigns to increase revenue, generate sales, and conserve existing assets
  • Work in a team environment to improve the delivery of service to internal and external customers
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of company products, administrative, claims, underwriting, and marketing organizations
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge to provide accurate and up-to-date information to customers

Essential Qualifications

* 1-2 years of call center service experience (preferred)

  • 2-3 years of customer service experience (required)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Superior telephone etiquette, excellent listening skills, and ability to articulate ideas
  • Ability to understand and respond clearly to customers in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment to improve the delivery of service to internal and external customers
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and manage stress
  • Basic computer skills and ability to think out of the box to generate innovative process improvements
  • Strong solid math and analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous call center experience

  • Ability to work various shifts within hours of operation
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and additional hours
  • Previous experience in the insurance and healthcare industry

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
