Title: Editor - On Call Location: United States Job category: Content Requisition number: EDITO002352 Full-time Remote Job Description: Position Summary: The Editor, On Call is responsible for news content across all channels, as requested to work by the Deputy Managing Producer. As a crucial team leader, you assign and coordinate daily and breaking news coverage, edit stories for newscasts, as well as lead audio, video, and social content production. Duties include working with the news team, upholding exceptional journalism standards and providing mentoring/guidance as applicable. The position may include evening, weekends, and/or holidays for general news coverage, as well as support for special projects. You will be trained on MPR News systems and technologies, including digital channel production. Expected Compensation Range: $39.42 - $47.30 hourly. Exact rate determined by experience and education related to the role, organizational compensation structure, and internal equity.
