As a Home Based Data Entry Specialist, you will play a vital role in transcribing information in a timely and accurate manner, submitting completed assignments in the required format, and maintaining a high level of productivity. Job Summary:

As a Home Based Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for gathering and organizing material, typing memorandums, reports, and other documents, preparing work in accordance with prescribed formatting guidelines, proofreading assignments, and submitting completed work via email or online portal. You will also be required to maintain a record of completed tasks, log hours worked, and stay up-to-date with changes in pertinent word processing software.

Key Responsibilities:

* Gather and organize material from which you will work, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

  • Type memorandums, reports, and other documents using stipulated word processing software, meeting productivity and quality standards
  • Prepare work in accordance with prescribed formatting guidelines, ensuring consistency and accuracy
  • Proofread assignments, identifying and correcting errors before submission
  • Submit completed work via email or online portal, meeting deadlines and quality standards
  • Maintain a record of completed tasks, logging hours worked and tracking progress
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in pertinent word processing software, ensuring proficiency and adaptability

Essential Qualifications:

* High school diploma or equivalent

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a home-based or remote setting
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
  • Outstanding organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Attentive to detail, with a keen eye for error and a commitment to quality
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and independence
  • Own personal or laptop computer, with reliable internet access and necessary software

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with data entry software, such as TypingMaster or KeyBlaze

  • Familiarity with online collaboration tools, such as Slack or Trello
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve conflicts
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients

* Strong typing skills, with a minimum speed of 60 words per minute
