Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming calls from customers and providing timely, accurate, and empathetic support
  • Reviewing customer history as necessary to ensure a seamless experience
  • Following policy and procedure guidelines to ensure consistency and quality
  • Helping customers change travel plans, confirm or obtain their itinerary, request refunds, or report travel issues
  • Processing refunds and resolving travel-related problems efficiently and effectively
  • Placing outbound calls to travel partners (hotels, rental car agencies, etc.) as necessary to resolve customer issues
  • Documenting information and outcomes as necessary to maintain accurate records

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Customer Service Representative, you'll need:

  • Prior customer service experience, preferably in the travel industry or a related field
  • Strong geographical knowledge and the ability to navigate multiple applications seamlessly
  • Excellent customer service skills, including strong attention to detail, effective communication, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong typing skills and proficiency in using the internet
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, anticipate situations, act, and see issues through to completion
  • Self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrated empathy and ability to work with diverse customer populations

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience working in the travel industry or personal experience using travel products
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues
  • Familiarity with arenaflex's products and services
  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software

Technical Requirements

To ensure a seamless experience for our customers, you'll need:

  • A computer and equipment meeting the following specifications:

+ Internet: High-speed, hardwired internet (no Wi-Fi or satellite) + Operating System: Windows 10 + Processor: Intel Core i5, 1.5 GHz and above + Memory: 8GB of RAM + Hard Drive: 256GB + Browser: Internet Explorer 11 and latest version of Google Chrome + Monitor: Dual monitors, each capable of displaying at least 1920 x 1080 pixels + Sound: Sound card (standard on most computers) + Virus Protection: Up-to-date anti-virus software + Headset: USB noise-canceling headset
