Job Summary
As a Data Entry Specialist, you will be responsible for researching and responding to written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all data is accurately entered, and that our clients receive exceptional service. This is a remote opportunity, with the option to work from home after completing an 8-week training period.
Key Responsibilities
* Research and respond to written inquiries in a prompt, accurate, and objective manner
- Enter data accurately and efficiently using Microsoft Office Suite
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and their patients
- Collaborate with our team to ensure that all data is accurately entered and that our clients receive exceptional service
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all company policies and procedures
Essential Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree or 3 years of experience in provider network contracting, credentialing, or servicing in a healthcare or health insurance environment
- Experience in provider outreach, making decisions, and responding quickly to questions
- Data entry and/or typing experience
- Interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and independent decision-making skills
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of experience in provider network contracting, credentialing, or servicing in a healthcare or health insurance environment
- 6 months of data entry experience in an office environment
- Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
