Join our team as an Area Manager

As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you'll lead a team of hourly workforce, responsible for maintaining the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance. You'll play a key role in ensuring customer expectations are met, with a focus on delivering orders at the right time, to the right location.

Key Responsibilities and Job Elements

* Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results

  • Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure seamless operations
  • Collaborate with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives
  • Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach to perform tasks
  • Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts, working in an environment with varying noise levels and temperatures
  • Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)
  • Work in an environment that is subject to variable temperatures and weather (delivery stations include outside loading departments)

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, with a focus on leadership and team management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in a customer service or operations management role, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity

  • Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in customer service and operations management
  • Experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with a focus on collaboration and communication
  • Certification in a related field, such as customer service or operations management
