Who we are: The Ad Council is where creativity and causes converge at scale. We are a national non-profit organization, bringing together the brightest minds in the marketing, media, advertising and tech industries to inspire change around the most critical social issues facing our country. We produce and activate communications campaigns that drive awareness and behavior change, creating a lasting impact on American life. We are behind the iconic social good communications programs featuring Smokey Bear, "Friends Don't Let Friends Drive Drunk" and “Love Has No Labels." Our unprecedented efforts around COVID-19 now include the largest communications initiative in U.S. history, “It’s Up To You,” which educates Americans about the COVID-19 vaccines. The Raquel Zarin Internship Program The Ad Council is hosting a paid, 9-week, remote, summer internship program from June - August with placements across various departments. We’re looking for summer interns from around the country who will bring diverse backgrounds, skills and perspectives to the Ad Council. Over the course of the internship, our interns will gain applicable work experience, contribute to real, client-facing projects, develop solid time management skills and learn how to maintain a healthy work/life balance Our internship program is in honor of Raquel Zarin, a beloved employee, mentor, and friend at the Ad Council. Raquel passed away in 2021 but left behind a legacy of grace, courage, hard work and great fun that we strive to emulate. She nurtured young talent, championed DEI, fought for immigration rights and was passionate about the importance of health equity.
