Senior ERP & MES Package Consultant

CTG is seeking to fill a Senior ERP / MES Package Consultant position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 12 months Duties:

• Lead the implementation, configuration, and integration of ERP and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) within client environments.
• Analyze business processes and requirements to align packaged solutions with operational and strategic objectives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for Tier-2 ERP and MES platforms, recommending best practices and optimized system configurations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to design end-to-end solutions supporting manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and operations.
• Configure system modules, workflows, and interfaces to support core business functions.
• Manage data migration, system testing (unit, integration, and user acceptance), and deployment activities.
• Identify gaps between business needs and package capabilities; design and implement appropriate workarounds or enhancements.
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations.
• Develop functional and technical documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and user training materials.
• Support change management and user adoption through training sessions and knowledge transfer.

Skills:

• Strong expertise in Tier-2 ERP and MES platforms, including Infor (BaaN, Lawson), Apriso FlexNet, IFS, Maconomy, Notes/Domino, and BPCS.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain, production planning, and shop floor integration.
• Experience with system integration methods, including APIs, middleware, and data interfaces.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable system solutions.
• Knowledge of data migration, system validation, and quality assurance practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
• Familiarity with project methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.

Experience:

• 8+ years of experience implementing or supporting ERP and/or MES packaged solutions.
• Proven experience leading full lifecycle implementations, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Prior consulting experience in a client-facing role preferred.
• Experience working in remote or distributed project teams.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant ERP/MES certifications are a plus.

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
