At arenaflex, we are dedicated to providing our guests with an exceptional dining experience, and we are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Cashier & Customer Service Representative to join our team in Jurupa Valley, CA. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, operating our cash registers and POS terminals, and maintaining the overall appearance of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cashier & Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for:

  • Greeting customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, both in the restaurant and at the drive-thru window
  • Operating our cash registers and POS terminals with accuracy and efficiency
  • Processing transactions, handling payments, and balancing the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Maintaining the appearance of the dining room and exterior of the restaurant, including restocking items and ensuring a clean and tidy environment
  • Preparing and storing food and beverages, as needed
  • Providing exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service and a positive guest experience

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering memorable experiences
  • Strong verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers and team members
  • Ability to operate cash registers, POS terminals, and other related equipment with accuracy and efficiency
  • Basic mathematical skills, with the ability to make change and handle refunds
  • Knowledge of our products and services, as well as customer-related policies at arenaflex

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role:

  • Previous experience in a fast-food or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures and policies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on multitasking and prioritization
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and handling procedures
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
