Quality Engineer Automation Engineer

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States Description: CTG is seeking to fill a Quality Engineer / Automation Engineer position for our client. Location: Remote Duration: 18 months Responsibilities:

• Lead Quality Engineering (QE) transformation initiatives, including shift-left practices and automation strategy.
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks for UI, API, services, and data layers.
• Automate testing across web, mobile, microservices, and containerized environments.
• Leverage Generative AI to create automation use cases that improve testing efficiency.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
• Analyze results, troubleshoot automation issues, and optimize frameworks for performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business and technical needs.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years in QE transformation initiatives; 6+ years total in software testing/automation.
• Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD integration.
• Knowledge of testing across multiple technologies and application layers.
• Experience leveraging Generative AI for test automation is highly preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
