You’ll join a group of highly motivated individuals working together to help Phorest grow even faster. The Opportunity We are looking for a Data Migration Specialist to join our team at Phorest. As part of our Technical Services team within Onboarding, you’ll lead the technical side of the onboarding process for our premium clients—planning, executing, and delivering seamless data migrations onto the Phorest platform. You’ll blend your technical expertise with top-notch customer service to drive real impact and help our clients thrive. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges, building relationships, and taking ownership of their work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What You’ll Do

  • Own and execute data migrations from a variety of competitor platforms, ensuring maximum data accuracy and completeness.
  • Partner closely with onboarding specialists and clients to understand their unique needs and migration timelines.
  • Create and manage detailed migration plans that maintain data integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide responsive, empathetic support throughout the migration process.
  • Collaborate with our development team to refine and enhance internal tools and processes.
  • Take the lead on complex migrations for high-value clients, ensuring a premium onboarding experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to deliver a cohesive and seamless client journey.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Management, or related field. We welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds - relevant technical certifications and equivalent experience may substitute for formal education.
  • Experience with data migration, data analysis, or a similar technical role is desirable but not required. We value transferable skills and eagerness to learn in this area.
  • Some experience with SQL or database concepts is desirable, but we prioritize curiosity and a demonstrated ability to learn new technical areas.
  • Interest in programming concepts and willingness to develop technical skills - prior Python experience is helpful but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative approach and ability to work effectively across different teams.
