Position Summary: As our Strategy Supply Chain Manager you will oversee end-to-end operations, leading strategy, people, and processes to optimize flow of goods, focusing on supplier management, cost reduction, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration in areas like procurement, logistics, inventory, and planning to drive efficiency and meet business goals. Key duties involve strategic planning, team leadership, performance measurement, managing supplier relationships, ensuring compliance, and implementing continuous improvements in a complex, global environment. This position plays a critical leadership role in delivering enterprise business results, including Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and key performance indicators (KPIs), while supporting overall business growth and operational excellence. Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive supply chain experience, with demonstrated success in manufacturing environments.
  • 3–5+ years of leadership experience, including managing teams across multiple locations or supporting multi-site operations.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage strategic supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, performance management, and risk mitigation in a multisite business environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, MRP/ERP systems, inventory optimization, and demand planning.
  • Demonstrated experience driving key performance indicators (KPIs) related to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory (SQDCI).
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives and standardizing processes across multiple facilities.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, cost reduction initiatives, and working capital optimization.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to partner effectively with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
  • Experience in regulated or compliance-driven environments (e.g., aerospace, defense, medical) preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically as needed to support multi-site operations.

  • Lead end-to-end supply chain, materials management, and procurement activities to support production schedules, demand requirements, and operational KPIs.
  • Partner with production teams to establish, track, and execute daily and weekly performance goals while accounting for labor, equipment, and capacity constraints.
  • Oversee demand planning and workflow optimization to ensure efficient material flow through production.
  • Manage cost centers and monitor KPIs to evaluate performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive continuous improvement through the implementation of lean manufacturing principles, including Six Sigma, Kaizen, waste reduction, and process optimization.
  • Lead all procurement and materials functions, including supplier selection, reduction, evaluation, certification, price negotiation, order placement, and supplier performance management.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory control objectives, including min/max setup, inventory accuracy, reduction of excess and obsolete inventory, and optimization of stockroom layout and storage locations.
  • Partner with divisional and corporate materials teams to maintain alignment on purchasing processes, supplier management strategies, and enterprise initiatives.
  • Support corporate supply chain initiatives such as common part number strategies, supplier-managed inventory, consolidated purchasing agreements, supplier rationalization, and supplier quality certifications.
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO9001, and ITAR requirements within a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Lead, coach, and develop direct reports through performance management, goal setting, career development, mentoring, and succession planning.
  • Collaboration: You will collaborate internally with Finance, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Sales, as well as externally with outside sales teams and customers to provide the best customer experience.
  • Empowerment: You will lead by example, trust in your teammates, and use data-driven decision-making to streamline critical processes and eliminate non-value-added activity.
