Job description: COMPASSIONATE ELEMENTARY ED TUTOR 4TH GRADE
Tutor Doctor of North Jersey is a boutique tutoring company located in Bergen County, New Jersey for 11 years, providing personalized, private in-home tutoring and academic coaching to families in the Northwest Bergen County area, and surrounding areas. We are actively seeking a compassionate, engaging tutor who can work with a 4th grader in Jersey City, NJ to improve student's reading comprehension, to build skills to help with memorization and retention as well as vocabulary development.
Candidate must have solid understanding of the field of education, and a passion for transforming students so that they can reach their full potential. Our ideal candidate is an experienced tutor and/or teacher, who has experience working with elementary school-aged students, who is flexible, committed and able to adapt to different learning styles. Ideal candidate has the sensitivity and confidence to build grades, and the integrity and knowledge to push students to excel beyond expectations. Must have transportation to travel to Jersey City, NJ.
