Job Summary Mosai is a rapidly growing healthcare technology SaaS company seeking a pragmatic, business-oriented legal leader to further scale our in-house legal function. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role will serve as the company’s senior legal resource, owning complex commercial matters, managing contract operations, and acting as the primary interface with outside counsel across regulatory, healthcare, and IP-related issues. This is a hands-on role that operates at the intersection of sales, product, finance, and legal—and can balance speed and risk in a fast-moving environment. Job Duties

  • Lead the company’s legal function and day-to-day legal operations. Build scalable legal processes, playbooks, negotiation strategies and approval frameworks tailored to a healthcare SaaS environment.
  • Own negotiation and structuring of large, complex customer, vendor, and partner agreements which can consist of custom pricing, terms and structure.
  • Business oriented mindset with ability to translate business objectives into practical legal structures that enable efficient contracting cycles.
  • Oversee day-to-day contract execution handled by Contract Managers, establishing clear standards, review processes and escalation paths.
  • Serve as the primary interface and quarterback for outside counsel.
  • Act as the internal liaison for healthcare regulatory, compliance, and related legal matters, translating external legal advice into practical business guidance.
  • Provide guidance on product releases, feature design and regulatory implications for new and evolving healthcare SaaS products
  • All other job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • 8–12+ years of legal experience, including in-house commercial contracting
  • Experience supporting healthcare, health tech, or regulated SaaS businesses
  • Strong ability to manage outside counsel and complex legal workflows
  • Proven track record partnering effectively with Sales, Finance, and executive leadership
  • JD and active bar membership preferred, not required

Job Location Mosai has office locations in Jacksonville, FL, and Nashville, TN. For this role, we are seeking candidates who are interested in a hybrid work arrangement at either location and/or fully-remote candidates. Physical Demands of Our Work Environment
