[Remote] Strategy Associate

Responsibilities

• Work alongside senior consultants to develop and refine Compass Equity’s consulting playbook
• Contribute strategic insight to solve client challenges
• Conduct financial analysis, market research, and operational diagnostics
• Support consulting engagements for founder-led businesses in the lower middle market
• Build analytical models and presentation materials used to guide executive decision-making
• Participate in client meetings and contribute to strategic recommendations
• Help implement initiatives designed to increase enterprise value

Skills

• Have 12+ months of experience at either BCG, Bain, or McKinsey
• Possess strong analytical skills and high emotional intelligence
• Are comfortable working directly with founders and senior executives
• Demonstrate leadership ability and the capacity to operate with increasing autonomy
• Thrive in environments requiring adaptability across industries and workstreams
• Candidates with experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate strategy will receive special consideration
