Compliance Analyst
The D. E. Shaw Group is seeking a Compliance Analyst to work closely with attorneys and compliance professionals to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. This role involves preparing regulatory filings, designing compliance monitoring reports, and supporting the firm's business units in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare regulatory filings, collaborate with compliance staff to support the firm’s business units, design and review automated compliance monitoring reports, and ensure adherence to compliance policies
- Work on long-term projects to maintain the firm’s high standards of compliance with new and existing regulations
Skills
- A bachelor's degree or higher
- Excellent analytical abilities
- Drafting and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed numeracy
- One to four years of experience
- Demonstrated record of achievement in academic and professional endeavors
- Organizational and project management acumen
- Keen eye for detail
- Impressive work ethic
- Prior experience in paralegal work
