As Outage Manager at General Electric, you will be responsible for overseeing outage operations at our power generating facilities. You must have extensive power plant and/or engineering experience, and be able to think on your feet to manage issues that arise during planned and unplanned outages. You should be able to manage a wide range of teams and coordinate efforts between management, engineering, operations, and maintenance staff.To be successful in this role, you must be an experienced professional with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills. You must also be able to communicate effectively and work in a fast-paced environment. We look forward to hearing from you! Responsibilities: Oversee and manage outage operations at power generating facilities. Coordinate efforts between management, engineering, operations, and maintenance staff. Develop and implement strategies for addressing and resolving issues that arise during planned and unplanned outages. Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during outages. Monitor and analyze outage performance and suggest improvements to increase efficiency. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure smooth operations. Develop and manage budgets for outage operations. Train and mentor staff on best practices for outage management. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and vendors. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as needed.
