Summer Associate- Risk Management & Strategy (Hybrid- Andover, MA)

The Summer Associate will support the Energy and Commodity Management team by driving key initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and ensure the delivery of high-quality services across the business.

Responsibilities

  • Support day-to-day team operations, analysis, and project execution
  • Conduct research, data collection, and reporting to assist business decisions
  • Prepare presentations, dashboards, and documentation for internal stakeholders
  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and project reviews
  • Assist with process improvements and help identify opportunities for efficiency
  • Collaborate cross functionally with other teams and associate across the organization
  • Help maintain accurate records, files, and project tracking tools
  • Contribute to Enel’s culture of safety, sustainability, and innovation
  • Quality Control for Power BI reports
  • Run processes to test generation data quality. Support the development of data testing tools. Manage tickets with PI/EMDB
  • Support Daily Margin Reporting: Review differences to budget using existing tools

Skills

  • Currently pursuing a BS/BA or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Economics, Finance, Communications, or possess relevant real‑world experience that demonstrates strong analytical, communication, or project‑support capabilities OR equivalent experience
  • Experience with advanced programming languages (e.g. Python & SQL) and preferably with AI technology
  • Experience with common Python libraries for data analysis and modeling (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Keras, TensorFlow, Matplotlib, Bokeh, Plotly etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, team-oriented environment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
  • Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, operations, technology, or related fields
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
